The Department of Health (DH) takes the initiative to approach parents of young children who have yet to receive vaccination, which is estimated to be about 70 000 persons. For now, Sai Wan Ho, Tang Chi Ngong, Lam Tin, Ma On Shan and Tsing Yi Maternal and Child Health Centres (MCHCs) provide vaccination service with prior bookings to children aged between 6 months and 4 years with the toddler formulation of the BioNTech vaccine, while Sai Wan Ho, Tang Chi Ngong, Lam Tin, Ma On Shan and Yan Oi MCHCs provide booked Sinovac vaccination service to children aged between 6 months and 4 years. Parents can also have their young children receive the Sinovac vaccine at 28 MCHCs of the DH when they receive services there.
